Patrick Spichiger
CEO
Patrick Spichiger serves as CEO and CFO of Zeltner & Co. Before joining Zeltner & Co, he successfully co-founded and led Cresolutions, a Zurich-based credit advisory and direct lending boutique. With a strong background in wealth management, risk management, lending, and entrepreneurship, Patrick brings a comprehensive, end-to-end understanding of clients’ success factors and needs. He also acts as the firm’s credit structuring expert and is responsible for managing its direct lending investments. Patrick studied economics in Switzerland and the UK and is a certified expert in real estate valuation.
Patrick enjoys skiing, hiking in the mountains and quality time with his family.
Kim Matthias Wirth, CFA
CIO
Kim Wirth is the co-founder of Zeltner & Co, where he serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Investment Officer. He brings deep expertise in investment research, asset allocation, and portfolio management, developed through roles at leading firms, including an exchange-traded investment company, a Swiss private bank, and an investment consulting firm. Following an apprenticeship, Kim studied Economics at the University of Zurich and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Raised in the countryside near Solothurn, he now lives in Zurich. Outside of work, he is passionate about reading, endurance sports, and martial arts.
Nicole Zeltner

Nicole Zeltner is the daughter of Jürg Zeltner and is responsible for marketing, events, and client experience at Zeltner & Co. She previously worked for an insurance broker and has experience in organising a wide range of events, from weddings and sports events to corporate events. She studied Business Administration in Bern, focusing on Marketing, and obtained a certificate in event management.
Nicole lives in Zurich and enjoys spending her free time outdoors, skiing, and doing CrossFit.
Kerstin Herbert

Kerstin Herbert is our Executive Office Manager, supporting the Management Team. She is also our Head of Human Resources, supporting our Finance function. She has worked in the Zeltner Family Office since 2015, responsible for all organisational and finance-related tasks. Previously, she worked with Jürg Zeltner for over 10 years in the banking industry.
Kerstin is from Germany. She loves to travel the world and spend as much time as possible in nature.
Demelza Hays
CRYPTO PORTFOLIO MANAGER
Demelza Hays, Ph.D. is the Portfolio Manager of Zeltner & Co.’s Cryptocurrency Frontier Actively Managed Certificate (AMC). She specializes in identifying and managing high-potential digital assets through a fundamental, research-driven investment approach. Over the past decade, Demelza has authored more than 20 research reports on digital assets and managed two regulated cryptocurrency funds. She was recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and is a U.S. Department of State Fulbright Scholar. Demelza earned her Ph.D. in Business Economics from the University of Liechtenstein, where her dissertation focused on the role of cryptocurrencies within diversified investment portfolios. Her work bridges academic insight with asset management experience, bringing institutional rigor to the evolving field of digital finance.
In her free time, Demelza enjoys hiking and jiu jitsu.
Nico von Burg
swiss industrial metal advisor
Nico von Burg is a member of the Swiss Industrial Metal Certificate Advisory Board and is responsible for generating investment ideas and implementing our investment decisions in our metals strategy. He is an experienced metals trader with expertise covering base and minor metals, special alloys and their scarp and has amassed a large network of other metal traders, mines and refineries. He founded the Swiss Metal Exchange in 2016 and operates Swiss bonded warehouses with the company Metal Depot.
Nico is a sports marksman and a former member of the Swiss Armed Special Forces.
